Gill has more than 15 years experience of creating and implementing business development and commercial strategies for small to medium sized businesses. Her primary focus is high-growth, businesses, her vertical-market expertise is digital and her speciality is the commercialisation of IP.
Gill currently works, in a non-exec role, with four companies on a regular basis and with others on a project basis.
She is also retained by UMI3 (University of Manchester Intellectual Property) as an observer on its investment panel and occasionally works with the North West Business Leadership team on projects that relate to SME interests.
She previously represented GONW (Government Office North West) regarding European project funding on Merseyside and she was retained by MSIF (Merseyside Special Investment Fund) to help develop & implement a business-mentoring programme.
