Entering the Big Chip Awards is a simple on-line process. You need to complete a few short entry screens giving your details, a description of the entry and a few words on why it should win. The first two entries are free and subsequent entries cost £85.

In 2012 there are 16 categories open to entries from the North of England, inlcuding the Little Chip student award, and one international category open to entries from anywhere. Entries close 5 March 2012.

North of England awards

The North of England awards are for entries with a strong connection to the North of England - for the Big Chips that means anywhere north of Derby and south of Scotland. You can see full details of the criteria for each of these categories, along with details of past winners, by clicking on the links below.

Entries to any of these categories will be eligible for any of the four special awards chosen from shortlisted entries:

Big Chip Digital Agency Award (you can choose if you want to be considered for this award)
Anthony Wilson Original Modern Award - chosen by a special guest judge
Tasty Website Award (you can choose if you want to be considered for this award)
Grand Prix - the best of the best

International award

Little Chip student award
