Wide Area Network Connectivity Project

Aerelink were invited to tender for a project to connect Primary and Secondary Schools to the wide area network by Dundee City Council. Aerelink’s proposition involved Innovative wireless technology to connect schools rationalising the use of expensive traditional telecommunication links.

Against stiff competition Aerelink were awarded the contract. Subsequently the wide area network has grown beyond the initial education sites and now more and more corporate sites are also connected via wireless systems.

The solution provided by Aerelink provides multiple benefits, including providing an upgrade path, greatly increasing the available bandwidth and decreasing the ongoing revenue costs by over 50%.
