Yuuguu is a desktop tool that allows users to see, share and take control of each other’s computer screens and applications remotely. It also allows users to chat while sharing screens, and shows when workmates are online. It was developed to solve the problem faced by its creators of working in a virtual organisation, of making remote team working as straightforward as working in the same physical space. It works across PCs and Macs and has the capability to be extended to mobile devices. It also offers secure communications and works through firewalls without needing to be reconfigured.

The judges described it as “a nice light app that delivers exactly the functionality people need. It couldn’t be more Web 2.0 if they tried”.
