Client: RHM Foods
Project: Hovis Granary Microsite

RHM required a new microsite to support the £1.1m launch its new range of seeded breads. The site was intended to act as the main driver in delivering information about the range and the benefits of seeded bread. The agency was set goals including raising awareness of the new range; educating the public about the health befits of the bread and appealing to ABC1, 1 – 2 person households.
The design creates an instant impact through a menu that takes the form of a plate of sandwiches and invites immediate interaction. The use of real life composition, featuring the plate with sandwiches and salad brings a lifestyle element to the site to make it appealing to the target audience, whilst the overall clean nature of the site brings to life the product and emphasises the healthy nature of the bread. Product shots feature throughout to shout about the ‘hero’ of the site – the bread. The site’s content focuses on the appetising nature of the bread as well as portraying it as light and nutritious. It carried information about each of the products health benefits, ingredients and nutritional value and also explored the origins of granary with useful links to the British Nutrition Foundation, British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK.

The site has been designed to promote the vintage clothing brand and mirrors the uniqueness of the shop itself. The main goal of the site was to generate media interest and the design features a theatrical influence that showcases the brand as well as the clothing and stands out from the run of the mill e-commerce site.
