Big Chip 2012 is now open for entries
Entries are now being accepted for the 14th annual Big Chip awards and will close on 5 March.
As in 2011 the awards are open to entries from across the North of England.
Changes
This year an important rule change will give a better chance for bigger projects that take more than a year to show results. Projects - such as campaigns or products - that were launched more than a year ago but have shown substantial, measurable progress in the last year will now be eligible.
The 2012 call also sees the introduction of a new category Best Use of Gaming, open to viral and other games types as well as console games.
The high-powered judging panel will be chaired again by Michael Nutley, and includes Ajaz Ahmed, founder of Freeserve and Thinking Digital founder Herb Kim.
Win-win
Darryl Adie, Managing Director of triple-Big-Chip-winner Ampersand Commerce said:
"The Big Chip Awards we won really raised awareness of our agency in the industry and set the tone for the exciting year we've had, winning several big name clients and recognition as experts within the Magento community."
